DEMO DAPI - a specialized sandbox environment designed to let prospective customers test API functionalities before formally committing to a partnership. Early access to a testing DECTA API functionalities with dummy data allows to accelerate time-to-market and streamline the technical integration process for businesses still in the negotiation or onboarding phases.

DECTA API TEST environment

To ensure a smooth and secure integration process, DECTA provides a dedicated API Test Environment for their Customers. This environment allows you to safely build, test, and verify your integrations before interacting with real client data.

Keys Features

  • Completely Isolated: The TEST environment is completely separate from the Production environment. Your testing activities will never impact live data or real financial operations.

  • Tailored Setup: The environment is individually configured for each Customer to accurately reflect your specific business requirements and testing needs within the TEST environment capabilities.

  • Early Access to Updates: The TEST environment has the same version as the Production environment or next version with new features and enhancements which will be included in the upcoming DECTA API release. This allows you to preview, prepare for, and test new functionalities before they go live.

  • Mandatory Pre-Launch Testing: Before you can integrate with the API Production environment, you must integrate and successfully test all necessary endpoints within the TEST environment.

  • Continuous Verification: Even after your initial integration is complete, we strongly recommend performing regular tests of your integrated endpoints and monitoring DECTA API release notifications to ensure your systems remain compatible with our latest changes and you are aware of the new functionalities.

DECTA API Production environment

The API Production environment is the live, secure system where your active business operations take place. It is strictly separated from the TEST environment and is designed to manage your real-world card-related operations safely and efficiently in accordance with IPCO requirements and industry’s best practices.

  • Live Operations: This environment handles your actual client data and live financial operations. It seamlessly interacts with other external production systems and networks to fully support your payment card issuing services.

  • Tailored Configuration: All system configurations within Production environment are precisely executed in accordance with your specific project implementation plan.

  • Secure Access: To ensure the highest level of data protection, the Production environment requires a separate access setup. This includes dedicated production credentials and a distinct certificate signing process.

  • Production Access: Access to Production environment becomes available to your team once the successful testing and verification of all required endpoints has been completed in the TEST environment.
